2 event formats
In August 2019, all roads led to Berlin for DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga eV‘s general meeting, and for the previous evening‘s celebratory event. The events were attended by representatives from the 36 clubs in the Bundesliga and second division, the DFL and its subsidiaries, the media and invited guests. Liga Travel once again handled the arrangements for the meeting, the accompanying sessions and the evening event.
Evening event – August 20, 2019:
Liga Travel focused on the arrangements for admission and checking in at the hotel to ensure that everything went smoothly for guests when they arrived. As well as handling travel, Liga Travel was also involved in organizing the evening event, where the DFL awarded honors for significantachievements in German professional football.
General meeting – August 21, 2019:
The next day focused on issues including DFL eV‘s structural reform, a farewell to DFL President Dr. Rauball and various elections for DFL eV and DFL GmbH. Liga Travel was involved in creating the right setting for this, meeting specific requirements for a venue with plenty of business facilities to accommodate the various sessions.

The general meeting is held every three years, and once more in 2019 Liga Travel was part of the organizing team, which also arranged the evening event where DFL honors were presented. Yet again, the Bundesliga‘s official travel partner demonstrated it can successfully combine a range of event formats. Liga Travel is always perfectly prepared for large events like this that require a large number of different areas for sessions and business meeting.
